Winter Update

We have had a busy start to the winter season, with several MYO2 brand ambassadors and fans taking on the mighty Comrades Marathon armed with their MYO2 products for ultimate muscle support and recovery. Well done to the team and we thank you for your updates, shared on social media.

We sponsored MYO2 products towards Season One of the Ladies Premier Padel League in Johannesburg. The six PPL teams (48 ladies) have had a blast so far, playing at three great venues since the beginning of June: Match Padel Fourways, Match Padel Cedar and Coalition Padel. We look forward to the rest of the tournament, which promises fierce competition and lots of fun!

Interest in MYO2 products at several padel and golf clubs across South Africa, continues to grow. The MYO2 drink has received consistently positive feedback for its refreshing taste and revitalizing formulation. Gina Read of Cloud9Padel remains instrumental in introducing the products to padel participants in the various beginner, intermediate and advanced padel events she organizes.

Advantages of Winter Training

The key to successful winter workouts is to be flexible. It may not always be safe to exercise if temperatures are extremely low. An indoor workout may be the best alternative if conditions are dangerous.

  • You heart will be working harder to keep your body warm in cold weather conditions and this will increase your blood circulation, enhancing your cardiovascular endurance over time.
  • You will burn more calories in cold weather, as your body tries to regulate its temperature. A regular training regime through the winter months will help you to control your weight and support your overall well-being.
  • Regular common outdoor exercise areas will be quieter during winter and therefore gives you an opportunity to enjoy a peaceful workout.
  • Although mentally challenging, sticking to your winter workout routine will ultimately be very rewarding and you will feel a sense of pride when completing your routine.

Embrace the benefits of winter training, but always pay attention to your body’s signals and prioritise your safety.
